Brazilian choreographer and artist Ana Pi moves there between concepts of uprootedness, belonging, memory, colours and everyday gestures, starting from healing processes and the radical imagination of dance of the Transatlantic African Diaspora. It grew out of an etymological observation that some historical languages have no word for 'blue' and even reject the word for 'black', from which the artist imagines an Atlantic journey between the blackness of skin and ultramarine blue pigment to undermine structures of invisibility.
