# Blue Zone

"Blue Zone" is a performance set in a dystopian world where humanity has lost its emotions since an eclipse. The piece comes from the group Dystopia by K, directed by Nuria Lajara, who also plays the sardine, together with Andrea Morell Núñez and Aria María Aureliana. It revolves around the fictional drug Sardexin, extracted from the sardine, which temporarily restores the ability to feel and has pushed the species to the brink of extinction. This work-in-progress explores desire as an ambivalent force between attraction and submission.
