Book Launch: »Interweaving Peripheries. Transient Objectives and Morphing Spaces of School and Schooling« at Bibliothek für Bildungsgeschichtliche Forschung, Monday 9 November 2026, 16:00.

A book launch for the edited volume »Interweaving Peripheries. Transient Objectives and Morphing Spaces of School and Schooling«, which explores overlooked spaces, objects and actors that shape school life from the margins – from urban streets and rubbish bins to private industry. The three editors, Fanny Isensee, Lisa Rosén Rasmussen and Josefine Wähler, will offer a glimpse into the volume, after which some contributing authors read selected passages from their texts. A recurring question along the way: where, how and by whom is schooling actually made? Afterwards, guests are invited to stay for snacks, drinks and conversation; the event is held in English.
