# Das Herz eines Boxers

Das Herz eines Boxers at GRIPS Theater, Wednesday 21 October 2026, until 18 Jan.

„Das Herz eines Boxers“ is a theatre play by Lutz Hübner at the GRIPS Theater. After a break-in, 17-year-old Jojo is sentenced to community service at a senior residence, where he meets Leo, who has not spoken a word for years. The gruff old man was once a celebrated professional boxer who fell hard – in the ring and in life. A friendship develops between the two; returning thirty years after its premiere at the GRIPS Theater, the classic takes a new look at the dialogue between generations and questions of masculinity.
