A theatre show with music: DIE RIXDORFER PERLEN – Operation Abendsonne. Its three Neukölln originals, cleaner Mieze, barmaid Marianne and sex worker Jule, realise their pensions are far too small and hatch a daring scheme in the maze of Berlin's public authorities. With wit, music and heart, Inka Löwendorf, Johanna Morsch and Britta Steffenhagen tell of the fight for dignity in old age, of genuine friendship and of what a life full of work is still worth today. Julia von Schacky directs the text by Ramona Kroenke, Julia von Schacky and the Rixdorfer Perlen, with music by Felix Raffel, in a production of Heimathafen Neukölln.
