# “Heroes”

“Heroes” at Berliner Ensemble, Wednesday 11 November 2026, 19:30.

"Heroes" is a tribute to David Bowie combining reading and concert. Actor and singer Alexander Scheer performs Bowie songs with his band while tracing literary and musical traces – Bowie always traveled with a mobile library of up to 1,500 books. Comic artist Reinhard Kleist accompanies the evening with live drawings. The Berliner Ensemble is a fitting venue, as Bowie, while living in Berlin from 1976 to 1978, was himself a theatergoer there.
