# Ocean Bound

"Ocean Bound" is a dance performance by Sergiu Matis at the radialsystem, in which part of the audience shares the stage with the performers and can move freely in the space. The Romanian choreographer Sergiu Matis addresses climate change and the loss of familiar surroundings. Video material created especially for the project shows habitats at the interface of land and sea, shaped by rising water levels, mangrove deforestation and coastal erosion. Audience and performers move freely among the projections, creating a choreography of ecological grief in which bodies and images are woven together.
