# Open Source Hangout

Open Source Hangout at D64 - Zentrum für Digitalen Fortschritt, Wednesday 4 November 2026, 20:00.

The Open Source Hangout is the monthly meeting of D64's Open Source working group and takes place online, for members only. Open Source is understood there as a mindset and the foundation of digital sovereignty, going beyond software, licences and rights alone. At its core it is about transparent, networked and cooperative action and creation. The working group develops ideas and approaches to strengthen these principles.
