Training Applied Microbiology 2026 is a five-day full-time training course on practical microbiology for the brewing and beverage industry. It is run by the Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei (VLB Berlin). The course covers the basics of microbiology, laboratory techniques and microbial sampling in theory and practice. It takes place in VLB's microbiological training laboratory and in its pilot brewery.
