"Resurfacing Iris" is a solo exhibition by the artist Vicky Uslé at the alexander levy gallery. It presents new glass works in which drawings on a bed of sand and pumice stone are fused under glass as it cools. Light passing through the glass projects shadows onto the wall that she compares to washes with body and volume. The works play with colour, relief and mythological titles that bring together colour, thought, writing and healing.
