# Wavematters

Wavematters at Tieranatomisches Theater, Saturday 24 October 2026, 14:00.

Wavematters is an exhibition exploring how waves come to matter and shape social life. It is the result of a five-year ERC Consolidator Grant led by Ignacio Farías at the Institute of European Ethnology of the Humboldt University in Berlin. At its centre is the Cabinet of Waves, showing objects collected during fieldwork, while five artistic positions including Mathias Klenner and ooooo invite visitors to sense the ever-present waves around them. The exhibition also tells stories of how people and cities relate to waves in everyday life.
