"Christopher James: Natural Forms" is an exhibition of paintings shown at the Cecil Court gallery of Panter & Hall. The artist paints humble natural subjects such as nests, feathers, birds and plants, seeking to elevate them into works worthy of contemplation. His stated aim is to honour the little wonders that surround us every day, rendering every tiny aspect precisely and using contrasts of light and shadow to define form and texture.
