It is run by Lincoln's Inn as a Qualifying Session, aiming to identify the key arguments for and against the motion and how they are deployed effectively. Guests are limited: Benchers and Hall members can bring up to three guests, while student guests are not permitted. Lounge suits and gowns are the dress, and no preparation is required.
