Fences at Lyric Hammersmith, Tuesday 27 October 2026, until 31 Oct.

A landmark play by August Wilson, staged in a new production at a London theatre. Directed by award-winning Daniel Bailey, it follows Troy Maxson, a man whose past stands in the way of his family's future. Set in 1950s Pittsburgh, it tells of his wife Rose holding the family together and the reckoning that builds as dreams collide and tempers flare.
