Greg Surmacz performs live at Upstairs @ Ronnie's, blending jazz, post-rock and electronic music built from woodwind, analogue synth melodies, pulsating sub-bass and intricate rhythms. What began as a solo production project is now a full live band with some of the UK's finest musicians. His music has drawn support from Gilles Peterson, Jamie Cullum and others, and his band features players from acts including The Cinematic Orchestra and Nubiyan Twist. The evening draws on his fifth album Building Beyond The Sky and the EP Voices Through The Wall, with vocalists including Ruby Wood, Daudi Matsiko and Open Mike Eagle.
