Young Producers is a paid programme for young people aged 16 to 25, with no experience needed beyond curiosity and creativity. It is run by Royal Museums Greenwich, working with 20 young people to plan and run part of the Lunar New Year celebrations at the National Maritime Museum, a community festival attended by up to 16,000 visitors. Participants collaborate with a lead facilitator and producer, meet heritage professionals, and create an activity, resource, or performance such as a trail, tour, or workshop. The opportunity is paid hourly at the London Living Wage, with materials, snacks, and up to £10 per return journey covered.
