Digital Safety Workshop is a hands-on lunchtime session on getting the basics of digital security in place. It is put on by the Journalism Protection Initiative at CUNY, with workshops run by Kate Parkinson, JPI's Risk and Safety Manager, and Davis Erin Anderson, senior digital security trainer at the Freedom of the Press Foundation. Each session is designed to cut through the overwhelm of digital safety, so that you leave having actually done something to improve yours. You bring your laptop and phone, and pizza is provided; RSVP is required.
