Pre-Existing Condition is a powerful new play about a woman rebuilding her life after escaping an abusive relationship. Written by Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland and directed by Tony Award nominee Maria Dizzia, it follows a woman known only as 'A' as she navigates doctors' appointments, legal hurdles and the harsh realities of starting over, finding unexpected kindness, connection and hope along the way. A New York Times Critics' Pick after a critically acclaimed premiere, it stars Lupita Nyong'o, Phillipa Soo, Edie Falco, Hari Nef and Susannah Flood alternating in the role of 'A', joined by Dael Orlandersmith, Sarah Steele and Greg Keller.
