Parzival

Worum es geht

A youth-oriented stage adaptation of Wolfram von Eschenbach's medieval knightly epic, rewritten by Joanna Praml and Dorle Trachternach and performed by a young ensemble in the Deutsches Theater's Kammer stage (DT jung, recommended from grade 9). It follows Parzival, who grows up isolated in the forest and sets out naively to become a knight of the Round Table and find the Grail, asking what it means to act chivalrously today; running time is 1 hour 50 minutes with no interval.
