A winemaker's evening with a four-course menu, an aperitif and six wines at the restaurant and wine bar Der Weinlobbyist. Behind the evening is Matthias Stachel, who has run the family winery Stachel in Maikammer since 2003 and is considered a specialist in international red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Malbec. He combines traditional craftsmanship with modern cellar technology, letting his wines ferment spontaneously and mature in barriques. The evening is accompanied by the winemaker and a sommelier, and white wines such as Chardonnay sparkling wine, Auxerrois and Gewürztraminer are also poured.
