A festival centre of the Berlin Science Week at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt that brings science and society together for three days. The Berlin Science Week turns the HKW into a lively centre around this year's theme In Touch, with over 100 events under one roof including live talks, workshops, exhibition stands and networking formats. Visitors of every background and age are invited to connect complex scientific ideas with everyday life, ask questions, exchange ideas and meet the researchers behind the work. The Biergarten Weltwirtschaft offers coffee, drinks and snacks in the cloakroom foyer and the Magnus Hirschfeld Bar, burritos and tacos from the Las Chilangas food truck, and lunch dishes and stone-oven pizza in the restaurant by the Spree.
