About
Cripping Village is a four-part, peer-led workshop series for queer men* who are disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent and/or users of or survivors of psychiatric or medical care. It is moderated by Breandán Drewes, a social worker, sexuality educator and activist for the rights of disabled and queer people in Berlin. The series creates space to share lived experiences, build connections and exchange community knowledge beyond medicalized or pathologizing narratives. Possible topics include loneliness and belonging, accessibility of spaces, support networks, mutual aid, and intimacy in its many forms.
