About
daoud // SOLD OUT is a live concert at the club Gretchen in Berlin-Kreuzberg; tickets are already sold out, with no box office. Behind the name is the French-Moroccan trumpeter and composer daoud, considered the enfant terrible of jazz, who breaks rules and thereby delights new listeners and jazz connoisseurs alike. With his new album "ok" (ACT, 2025) he shows very personally what he stands for; his music moves between playfulness and seriousness, chaos and tenderness. In November he plays with his band as part of a larger European tour, in which quiet, lyrical moments alternate with energy and joy of playing – sometimes intimate and vulnerable, sometimes wild and euphoric.
