About
"Der letzte Himmel" is a lecture performance by and with the German-Palestinian journalist Alena Jabarine, based on her book of the same name, with live music by Bakr Khleifi. In early 2020, Jabarine moved to Ramallah for three years and set out in search of "Palestina". In the performance, she tells stories from her everyday life in a place that is much talked about but that very few people know – from Jerusalem via Ramallah to Bethlehem. She speaks of violence and humanity, loss and solidarity, patience and hope.
