About
“Die Eichhörnchen-Story” is an entertaining and exciting play about waste and the environment for children aged 3 to 8, staged with scenery made of upcycled materials. Written and produced by Theater Jaro, this 45-minute play directed by Sylvia Niemann tells of young squirrel Nico, who finds no nuts at the walnut tree but plenty of litter, and who, together with a rat and an owl, sets out to help the tree. It is performed by Susann Schulze and Katja Behounek-Pölzer. The entire set and figures were built from reusable or upcycled materials, such as old onion sacks, sawdust and packaging foil.
