About

"Die Therapie" is a psychothriller staged as a play at the Berliner Kriminal Theater. Based on Sebastian Fitzek's bestselling novel of the same name, adapted for the stage by Marc Gruppe, it follows the unexplained disappearance of the twelve-year-old daughter of psychiatrist Viktor Larenz – with no witnesses and no body. Years later Viktor withdraws to a remote island, where the young author Anna Spiegel visits him; she suffers from delusions and claims to have visions of a vanished girl. When he finally agrees to treat her, he sets something in motion that exceeds his worst nightmares.
