About

Digital Independence Day is a gathering where people work together, step by step, to regain their digital autonomy. Behind it is a network of Berlin organizations and initiatives, hosting among them the hackspace c-base, the project Digital-Zebra (VÖBB), Topio, the kleindatenverein, Anoxinon e.V., Computertruhe e.V. and Möckernkiez e.V. It is about getting help switching to digital alternatives, such as from X to Mastodon or from Google Chrome to Firefox, and about online privacy. The event is free and open to beginners, with tea, coffee and snacks; you can bring your devices, and access and the room are barrier-free.
