About
DISCO – Acrobatics * Dinner * Dance is a variety show at the Wintergarten Varieté Berlin that celebrates the disco era through acrobatics, dance and dinner. The venue itself stages it under the direction of Rodrigue Funke & Rachel Dowse, with dance performances to disco hits of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, daring roller-skate stunts, aerial acrobatics above the heads of the audience and breathtaking juggling. Iconic retro fashion is part of the picture too, with sequins, flared trousers, jumpsuits and extravagant hairstyles. The show lasts around 140 minutes including an interval and is presented in German and English for international guests, while the house serves everything from three-course menus and snacks to cocktails.
