The Erste Hilfe Workshop (First Aid Workshop) is a hands-on refresher course covering what to do in an emergency before the emergency services take over. It is run by Quälgeist Berlin e.V., an association in whose premises the course also takes place. Topics include the basics of consciousness, breathing, the recovery position and resuscitation with an introduction to the defibrillator, wound care, and circulation problems, overheating, low blood sugar and dealing with shock. The workshop is open to anyone interested, is free of charge, requires registration, and will be held in German.
