ESCHLOWEEN is a Halloween party night at the club Eschschloraque Rümschrümp in Berlin-Mitte. Behind it is the club's team with several DJs: Aaron Levin Harder, a former blues musician who runs the label Purple Eternity Records; resident DJ and multimedia artist Holly Hunted; DJ, lighting designer and musician Sheila Chipperfield; and Kassetta, the club's in-house entertainer and door person. The music spans Arabic secret tips and alternative 90s, danceable 80s hits and New Wave/Post Punk, through to pure hits from the 1970s and 1980s. Sheila Chipperfield sees DJing as communication without words, turning the evening into a feel-good moment.
