About
The Espresso-Konzert is a short afternoon concert in the Kleiner Saal of the Konzerthaus Berlin under the motto „Koffein für die Ohren“ (caffeine for the ears). Two kinds of caffeine are served here: in cups and, naturally, musical ones. Award-winning young musicians present surprise programmes that really wake you up. Mezzo-soprano Heather Newhouse, alto Anthea Pichanick and pianist Justine Eckhaut perform expressive songs, including songs by Henry Purcell arranged by Benjamin Britten.
