About
"Experiment und Eigensinn" is a group exhibition showing work by artists and designers of the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee at Zitadelle Spandau. It is an exhibition by the Mart Stam Gesellschaft e.V., curated by Stefan Koppelkamm and Sophia Pompéry. The show assembles selected works by winners of the Mart Stam Prize, which the school's support association has awarded every year since 1997 for outstanding graduation projects in all disciplines, with video portraits of the participants adding a further dimension. The association is named after the Dutch architect Mart Stam, who directed the school from 1950 to 1952 and insisted on the social responsibility of artists and designers.
