About
Familiendonnerstag (Family Thursday) invites children and their families to a varied afternoon featuring readings, Kamishibai paper-theatre performances, creative activities and more. It is hosted by the Berliner Büchertisch, an organisation promoting reading, as part of its project „Rixdorf liest III“. The offer is free of charge, all needed materials are provided, and there are snacks, drinks and play opportunities for the youngest guests. Visitors can also pick a book from the give-away shelf, and parents are especially welcome to come along.
