About
Flowgeist is a live performance marking the release of the debut album of the project of the same name. The project was conceived by Berlin-based artists Marco Bruno and Velvet May and grew out of a shared engagement with sound and aesthetics. With a cinematic understanding of electronic music, it moves between atmospheric soundscapes, broken rhythms and sculptural sound design, with traces of trip-hop, post-punk, industrial electronics and breakbeat. The performance is expanded by artistic collaborations: a live performance by Zainab J Lascandri, visuals by 4C from original footage by Stefano Canavese, a hybrid set by Alex Palmieri and a performance by Pareal.
