About
"Friedman im Gespräch: Krisen" is a discussion event forming part of a talk series at a Berlin theatre. Author, publicist and philosopher Michel Friedman regularly engages in conversation there with guests from politics, the arts and science about the existential and political issues of our time. In this edition he discusses crises with the sociologist Hartmut Rosa, who researches at the University of Jena: Is the world, democracy or the West in crisis? The talk also addresses whether the state of crisis is the new normal, when a crisis is productive, and whether social progress needs crises.
