About
Gavin Fairhall Lever is a concert at the Kurt Mühlenhaupt Museum. The trio from the London folk scene, with roots in Northern Ireland, Cornwall and Norfolk, plays Contemporary Folk from the British Isles. It combines Celtic tradition, melodic warmth, rhythmic inventiveness and jazz harmony into truly contemporary folk music full of thorns and flowers. The melodies unfold like stories, with dynamic arrangements ranging from radiant stillness to passages of unstoppable momentum.
