About
"Häkelhektar" is a monthly meeting for knitting and crocheting together in the café of the Regenbogenfabrik. It is run by the non-profit association Häkelhektar, which collects yarn donations and turns them into products sold at markets on a donation basis. The proceeds are used to lease areas in need of protection, such as forest and moorland. Besides organizational planning, the meetings are simply about a pleasant get-together and the joy of handcrafting; you can bring your own products, and new people, yarn donations and ideas for markets are welcome.
