About
„Hänsel und Gretel“ is an interactive theatre performance (Mitspieltheater) as part of the Berliner Märchentage 2026. The play by Johannes Galli tells how the two siblings get lost in the forest and are captured by a witch who wants to fatten and roast Hansel. An experienced actress, Rainer Eckhardt, tells the fairy tale while slipping into the different roles. Children can take an active part, call out their ideas and even join in on stage.
