Hidden Processes

About

HIDDEN PROCESSES is a media art exhibition and festival presented by the medienkunstverein (mkv) to mark its tenth anniversary. Curated by Marcus Boxler and Peggy Schoenegge, it gathers artistic positions by mkv members such as Banz & Bowinkel, Yvon Chabrowski, Manja Ebert, Mohsen Hazrati, Kathrin Hunze, Nadine Kolodziey, Clemens Schöll and Theresa Schubert. Through visualizations, interactive installations and speculative scenarios, the works expose the operations that stay hidden behind the smooth displays of everyday life and examine their effects on social coexistence, individual perception and the relation between humans and machines. Screenings, workshops, panels and talks accompany the exhibition, which is carried out with CIFRA, feldfünf and STUDIO IIII and funded by the Hauptstadtkulturfonds.
