Hide & Seek (Ebongwa Longue – Tree of life) - Kéwè K Bonono

"Hide & Seek (Ebongwa Longue – Tree of life)" is a three-day workshop for a maximum of 15 participants, with sessions of about two hours that cultivate the senses through embodied movement and spell making. Behind the project is Kéwè K Bonono, a French-Cameroonian, self-taught choreographer, writer and dancer in the performative arts. The workshop grows out of his memories and the knowledge passed down to him by his grandmother Owo, and invites a collective ritual of care and listening that addresses lost and obscured knowledge, identity and interconnection. Anyone willing to play and take up space with their body and voice may take part – all levels are welcome; the workshop language is English, and participants should bring their own yoga mat.
