hORA – mit Abendmahl
Sankt Matthäus-Kirche, 10785 Berlin, Tiergarten
About
"hORA – mit Abendmahl" is a church service at St. Matthäus-Kirche. It is held by the Stiftung St. Matthäus, for whom these services are the spiritual heart: people from all over Berlin gather in the light-filled church room to celebrate God's work in the world through word, liturgy, new music and communion. The sermon is given by Prof. Dr. Notger Slenczka, with liturgy led by Pastor Hannes Langbein. Music by Mieczysław Weinberg and Sofia Gubaidulina is performed by Christoph Bachmann on solo cello and Lothar Knappe on organ.
