About
"Kunst und Architektur" is a tandem tour for adults at the Gemäldegalerie, Berlin's museum of painting from the 13th to the 18th century. The art historians Pierluigi Feliciano and Henrik Engel guide visitors together and show how the gold grounds usual in European painting gave way to wide landscapes and splendid architectural settings in the late Middle Ages. They examine the changing styles used to depict buildings and city views, from the Renaissance and the Baroque through the 18th century.
