Ladykillers
Ladykillers: A darkly comic crime play.
Berliner Kriminaltheater, Palisadenstraße 48, 10243 Berlin, Friedrichshain
About
Ladykillers is a crime comedy and a classic of black humor, staged at the Berliner Kriminaltheater. The play is by Elke Körver and Maria Caleita after William Rose, with Thomas Wingrich directing. A shady "string quartet" is convinced it has the ultimate coup in the bag and moves in under a harmless pretext with the charming Mrs. Wilberforce, in a seemingly quiet house full of tea, music and a good view of the railway station. Small coincidences, big egos and unpredictable fate pull the carefully oiled plan into a chaotic direction, and there may be more behind Mrs. Wilberforce's smile than anyone thinks.
