About

A literary-musical journey between Germany and Ukraine full of rhythm, border-crossings and profound poetry. The German lyricist Ulrike Almut Sandig and the Ukrainian poet and musician Grigory Semenchuk are linked by a long-standing, intensive collaboration. At the centre are Sandig's novel Im Orkan, published in 2026, and Semenchuk's poems translated into German. In their texts and songs, inner and outer landscapes merge into powerful poetic images telling of loss, resistance and hope.
