Life Support

The documentary "Life Support" shows how, since October 2023, international doctors have breached the blockade of Gaza to save lives. They become eyewitnesses and reporters and find not just a humanitarian disaster, but a calculated dismantling of life itself. The film was directed by Daniele Rugo and features Professor Dr. Nick Maynard, Dr. Victoria Rose and Dr. Tanya Taj Hassan. A live question-and-answer session with Nick Maynard, Victoria Rose and the director follows, moderated by Michael Barenboim.

Critics praise the quietly devastating documentary and the doctors' restrained, powerful testimony, highlighting Palestinian colleagues' heroism. Little is faulted, though the film is described as almost unbearable to watch.
