𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐌𝐀 x 𝐀𝐟𝐠𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞

A solidarity night from Berlin's event series MAGMA, which has always shone a light on every corner of the bass spectrum, from drum and bass and jungle through electro, grime and dubstep to polyrhythmic and experimental sounds and global rhythms. Joining forces with the AfgActivistCollective, the evening raises funds for the family of a comrade who has finally been relocated to a safe zone after years and great expense – flights, visas, lawyer fees and long stretches in limbo – calling on everyone to take collective responsibility for border injustice. It opens with a discussion on colonialism and displacement in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Balochistan, followed by a performance, and then DJs such as Jet.Asti b2b, Farhád Baloch, Tempestfeather, djran, Nthra b2b Genosse Zeit and Sauvage take over the dancefloor. An Afghan-inspired community kitchen and a special drink menu keep everyone energised, and if money is a barrier, a small number of community tickets can be arranged by email.
