Makeup Workshop: Werde deine eigene Fantasie

A hands-on makeup workshop inviting participants to discover makeup, try out new techniques and express themselves creatively, whether they are interested in everyday looks, stage makeup or drag. It is led by Lau, a multidisciplinary non-binary artist who works mainly as a hair and makeup artist for stage, film, fashion and advertising, and who was formerly a drag performer and club kid closely connected to Berlin's queer scene. After a short introduction to skincare, each participant can focus on a technique of their choice, such as eyes and eyebrows, brow blocking, foundation, contouring and lips, or painting a beard without prosthetics. The workshop is aimed at LGBTQIA+ people with migration and/or refugee experience, welcomes all levels of experience with no prior knowledge needed, and is held mainly in English with German and Arabic translation available on request.
