About
The Michael Kornas Quartet plays modern jazz at b-flat. The ensemble is led by pianist, improviser, and composer Michael Kornas, with Marcin Konieczkowicz (ts), Alan Wykpisz (b), and Maksymilian Olszewski (dr). The focus is on his original compositions, which blend modern jazz with emotional depth and sonic openness. In this lineup the quartet released the album Apatheia, which musically explores inner balance and controlled emotionality.
