About
"Modern/Zeitgenössischer Tanz" is a weekly dance class for adults featuring a dance warm-up, coordination, muscle training, dynamic choreographies, and small improvisation tasks. The class is based on the Joos-Leeder technique and extended by elements of the Release, Limón, and Alexander techniques, aiming at comprehensive training of alignment, flow, joints, muscles, and musicality. The instructor is Livia Politi, trained at the Folkwang University of the Arts under Pina Bausch and further at the Limón Institute and Movement Research in New York. This gentle yet energetic full-body training welcomes lovers of contemporary dance, yoga, conscious movement, or dance theatre; the level is intermediate.
