NewGen Film Festival 2026

The NewGen Film Festival 2026 is dedicated to young Asian cinema, presenting six feature films and 23 short films in competition across fiction, documentary, animation and hybrid forms. It explores how young people deal with identity, migration, an uncertain future and self-determination. The opening and closing screenings take place at Neues Off, with further feature films at Rollberg and the short film competition at P60. For this, the festival returns to Berlin.
